It's official - I leave for Argentina in 41 days! I finally bought my ticket this weekend and I can't fathom that in less than 2 months I will be enjoying the warm Argentine sun. It was flurrying here today, so that made me even more excited to leave the cold Iowa winter and relax by the pool in Santa Rosa. :-)
That being said, I have SO much to do between now and then.... Thankfully I already have all of my vaccinations in order, and most of the administrative details. I still have to get my police letter insuring my clean record and then go to Des Moines to get it apostilled. I should probably start thinking about what I need/want to take since I am a huge procrastinator, not to mention that I can't efficiently pack a suitcase to save my life.
Speaking of which, I want to take a mini first aid kit with me, since I won't be able to have access to many of the items most Americans take for granted and run to the drugstore for at the last minute. Does anyone have any suggestions of things they aways bring when they travel, or what would be good to include in my first aid kit?
One last thing...I will try to consistently update my blog, so follow me if you want to stay in the loop for my adventures! Or if you want to live vicariously through me ;-)
